I'm coming out of retirement!

My neighbor, Brian Lucas, the owner of Slinger's Throw House in Altoona, asked me to play there this Friday night and I said OK.

Slingers is a great place to work out your issues... by throwing axes! And, as it turns out, by listening to great live music with me this Friday night - Oct 1 from 6pm to 9pm.

Brian asked me to play and, feeling confident after my gig in Baltimore this past Sunday, I gladly said I would do it. Hey, what could be more fun... playing guitar, singing songs, dodging deadly objects! You should be there!

Slingers is at 2324 N. Branch Ave, in Altoona (Beale and 24th St). You should call ahead to reserve your throwing lane, the place books up fast. Bring your own beer or wine (no hard alcohol, sorry Dave). You can bring your own food as well. Check out their website for FAQs and everything else you might want to know.
